We all know our British winters have taken a massive drop in temperature recently, with the UK’s average previously 7°C for the period December to February down to below 3°C.
So if you’ve struggled to get out of your drive and roads in the past, then take a look at either of our recommendations:
- Winter Tyres – which look like normal tyres but perform differently. Below 7°C winter tyres give significant safety advantages in wet and icy conditions, with enhanced grip and braking up to 8m shorter than a standard tyre at 30mph* (35m versus 43m in length).
- AutoSock Snow Socks – these are super-strong textile socks which you pull over the driving wheels to provide the grip you need on ice and snow. They are reusable and take up minimal storage space.

Unfortunately we don’t have the space to store your existing tyres if you choose to fit winter tyres, but we will re-fit your standard tyres in the spring completely free of charge!
